Disabling all MIDI messages from SQ5?

Hi!
I need to send program change using the footswitch. I set it up for sending on MIDI ch 15 at the moment.
Working with contemporary music composer who uses MAX.
Apparently every time a move a fader one the sq5, MAX receive MIDI messages.
This is creating a lot of issues in the MAX patch.
How can I disable all MIDI except the program change from the foot switch?

As far as i know, it’s not possible to turn some of the midi messages off. But you can use some extra pice of software like the Midi Translator Pro from BOME to filter out some special messages.

This software can offer virtual midi ports in your system and route only the needed messages thru. And btw it’s a very powerful software to handle midi!

I use the software together with the BOME Box to connect my faderwing directly to the SQ – without any additional PC – because this little Box is managing the connection and also the midi translation. Love it! 😉
