    The new Director version often crashes when I load a scene.
    I think it happens on scenes that weren’t loaded in 1.70.

    I was poking around this morning too! So glad they fixed the crossfade bug! I did *not* have any crashes when loading scenes, and all of them were built pre-1.7. …tested on both Macbook Pro and a Surface Pro 3.

    I am using a Dell Optiplex 9020 computer with Win10Pro.
    But I will test this on another PC.

    to your info:
    the crashes happen when I have activated the DX port offline and then load a scene containing preamps from the DX port.

    Once I disable the DX port, Director no longer crashes.

    A&H is informed.
