Direct Output Pre-Mute option

I would love an option for “pre-mute” direct output. Yes, I know there are other methods of getting there, such as tie-lines, but in my case the direct out is the better option and it would give me some peace-of-mind to see certain channels muted and know that they are only passing audio out to the 1-2 places it needs to go.
