Are digital inserts a possibility?

It is not implemented but was requested as new feature if possible (cannot retrieve the topic).
That would free the console and give great opportunities with the use of external plugin.

I don’t think the CQ is marketed to that user level.

Well actually it work, and very well but it use 2 channels.
Just hook up a VST host PC or Mac software to the CQ (via USB), put a VST between any input and another output (set to digital in) and you can play.
Very low latency.
Maybe FPGA architecture can allow a digital insert as a future update, I don’t know.
But it worth nothing asking.
