This costed me a few hours during and after a broadcasting event.
This happened: While set to a definitive DCA fader, single channels played out directly like set to pre but they wheren’t.
They didn’t follow the DCA fader while those added signal level. Closing the fader there was still signal heard by the effected channel.
At the end I came over the issue but not pretty sure how. What I did was setting the left channel of the effected to stereo link and off a few times back and forth. After that the effected channel worked under the dedicated DCA fader as it should.
My suggestion is that if not de-linked or somewhat left in the scene as programmed, the right channel of a former stereo pair doesn’t follow the DCA setup correctly and/or individually. An indicative for that is that all effected channels where used as right channels of a stereo pair beforehand.
The former left channels worked correctly as expected as the leading channels in the stereo situation.
