I have vocals assigned to a DCA. I’ve realized that moving the DCA on the FOH mix is affecting the volume of the vocals on the pre fader mixes I’ve set up for monitors. Is there a way for that not to happen?

I just read this in the manual.

The DCA master Fader adjusts the level of assigned channels at their channel fader point and
before the Pan control. This means that post-fade levels to the LR mix and effects are
adjusted. Pre-fade monitor sends are not affected.

This is not happening on this board, Anyone have any ideas why the DCA’s are changing the levels on the prefader mixes?

Thanks Steffen, I’m not at the board right now, when I get a chance I’ll post that.

Do you by chance have any of the mixes also assigned to that DCA?

Have you double checked that the mixes are indeed set for pre fade…had to ask.
You can globally set the mixes to be pre or post and still go and change them on channel by channel basis.

When you get a chance post up the pictures.
