    Hi Folks,

we are running a surface with a Dante expansion card and a mixrack hooked up to the ME system. I am using IP direct outs to both the ME and the Dante card (dante card is for recording via a virtual soundcard). my problem is that I want my ME sends to be post EQ, but my Dante sends to be Post Preamp (the same channels are going to the ME and for recording). is there a way to do this? I have considered duplicating all channels that need recording, but I still will be affected by the global IP direct out source. any ideas greatly appreciated.

    thanks

    Hi Windsock,

You can use the Record Send function in the I/O / Virtual Soundcheck screen for Dante, OR patch Tie Lines directly from the MixRack preamps to the Dante cards. Both these methods would send post-preamp audio to Dante. You can then set the Direct Out global source point for ME-1 use.

    Hope this helps.
