I’ve started working with CQ4You to give personalised mix control to each aux. Bearing in mind I’m new to mixing and the CQ18T, I’m now wondering what specifies the channels outputting to a particular Aux… is it CQ4YOU or the desk or is it the last of these devices you used overrules the other? Thank you in anticipation of your comments if you are able to help me 🙏

    Hi @Evorgeloc

The remote apps for CQ (CQ-MixPad and CQ4You) are remote controls for the mixer.
So you are making the same adjustment whether you change something on the CQ-18T itself or via an app.
Changes made on the unit are shown in the app/s, and changes by the app/s are shown in the unit and any other app/s.

So it’s not really that one device overrules the other, but more that you have control of the same thing from multiple places.

The only thing that is local to the CQ4You app is the assignment of channels to each group wheel.
The group wheel controls the level of multiple channels at once but keeps them in their relative position e.g. all up a bit, all down a bit…

    Thanks,
    Keith.

Thank you Keith… I’m trying to learn the art of mixing and the CQ at the same time… every day in every way… small steps 😃
