I just bought an Android 11 tablet – when I attempted to download the CQ4You app it said that the the device was not compatible. Had seen that the requirement was Android 6 or better.. The app works on my phone, and on my Ipad, But I use the Ipad for CQ-MiXPAD and would rather have a dedicated devise for CQ4You and not use the phone. What additional requirements do I need to look for when I buy another tablet?

You will need a 64bit device which is also running a 64bit OS to run CQ-MixPad or CQ4You.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

Thanks Keith! Most tablets that I look at do not mention whether 32bit or 64bit. My research last night indicated that 2 or 3 GB RAM is likely going to be 32bit – 4GB RAM and higher has a better chance of being 64bit. The tablet I had bought (now returned) had only 2GB RAM.

I was switching between the CQ4you app and the mixpad app on my iPad. Was a hassle because you can only connect to one app at a time (it drops the connection on the app you aren’t using, so not so seamless to switch back and forth). Then realized you can do what the 4you app does within the mixpad app. Not quite as efficient as the 4you app, but much easier than switching between the apps. Now I just use the mixpad app to mix my headphone mix without needing to use the 4you app.
