CQ18T Outputs 1-6 not working from DAW

I like to output sound via DAW to output chan. 1-6, however this seems not to be possible by choosing chan 17-24 in the DAW output, also I set the channels in the Channel assignement in the CQ18T mixer as described to eg. 21 and 22. Nothing comes out the outputs (directed from DAW, or AUM app). I use iPad OS17 and Logic Pro but also AUM does not work. It is said that these chan. can be set for FX output. I can however route to chan 1-16 if set in the CQ18T mixer.

Output routing works fine just inside the CQ18t but not from DAW.

I like to route signals from DAW to external FX on Output 3 and 4, Return is 15 and 16.
Further question: will there be side chain compression on the mixer and other effects section soon?

The USB outputs from the computer go to the USB/SD source of input channels.
To get signal from your DAW to a CQ output socket, you will first send signal to an input channel (USB set to multichannel, DAW outputs count from channels 1-16, then the stereo line, stereo BT and stereo USB).
Then send that input channel (or multiple channels) to an output using the CQ.

Regarding sidechain compression or sidechain for FX, this would require a signal path for the sidechain along with the cross points to allow for routing, none of which exists in the core I’m afraid.

@KeithJ A&H , can I use AMM as a sidechain alternative? I don’t expect it to work perfectly without the granular control, but can it accomplish a similar sound? How many milliseconds is AMM taking before it will start ducking? Any specs on the AMM attack/ release/ratio?
