Received my new CQ18T today. Very cool console.

I can tell there’s going to be a learning curve but I’m up to the challenge.

    With that said FX question.

Simply put. If I have Vox1 on input 1 and Guitar on input 2 can I not have independent reverb settings for something like Echo verb?

I.e. if I set type of Vocal Classic on Vox1 I was hoping I could set it to something completely different in Guitar but it seems that whenever I change it, it applies to both.

Are these treated as single virtual inserts? Or is it an instance per input channel?

In other words in Ableton for example I can have two tracks each with its own Reverb plugin.

Is that not how it’s treated here?

You can use the FX in shared or inserted mode (Selectable for each of the available FX units). In inserted mode it’s one FX unit per channel. In shared mode you route channels to it like it’s an FX bus. So, one to one or many to one; your choice. In one to many (shared), the same FX settings apply to all inputs being sent to it.

Ah that’s what that button is for. Thank you 👍 (off to give it a shot)
