Wow. That’s a big list of changes and hits a lot of the initial complaints about the CQ system. Great job A&H in making this console series even more appealing!
It covers 99.9% of the main request.
A&H was able to listen to customers and this is just great news.
I have already build my custom layer, fantastic.
I am digging into midi control at the moment, can wait the live tomorrow.
Wonderful, thank you A&H for investing in this platform!
Thanks, everything I wished for in one sweet update.
Installed the new firmware today and setup a DCA and custom layer. I’m loving this board. I have the ZED 10 as a backup, had the QU-16, and used the SQ series. This board is the sweet spot for simplicity and capability.
Really glad I waited for A&H to announce this new offering instead of buying the Touchmix, etc.
Installation using the Android App was flawlessly,
very good integration of the requested function without destroying the control concept, congratulations.
We, the community, can now digg out the next refinments for this great product 😉
Thank you Allan & Heath for releasing this important update.
I already found one small refinment and a wish for the V1.2:
– A click on the list of the included channels of an DCA in the processing tab should bring up a channel asignment for this DCA or open the config screen.
– would be nice to have a PFL (headphone button) button on the DCA’s, to listen to the complete group. Meight be dificult, as PFL seems to be exclusive for one channel on this consoles.
Wow. Talk about addressing a punch list! The MIDI control is going to be a game changer for me running our show from the stage when we don’t have an engineer. The footswitch was a laughable stopgap. This weekend is going to be a MIDI party getting my CQ, Fantom, and Helix all talking to each other…
Integration with stream deck is now possible, via midi, either via network with with A&H midi control software or via USB midi.
Wonderful stuff! Thanks A&H
Fantastic Work A&H Team!!!!! Keep them coming!!!!
