    Hey all,

    I love the new CQ and MixPad functionality of Custom faders to group channels together, but I may have found a bug in MixPad 1.2.0. Occasionally I experience an issue where a channel fader on one of the custom pages will be ‘locked’ where I cannot click and drag the fader up or down. I’ve only seen it happen to a single fader, as all of the other faders can be altered, and the locked fader isn’t consistent as to which one it is.

    As a work-around, if I un-select the custom button and go to the page with the locked fader, I can then move the fader, and then go back to the custom page and the fader is no longer locked. I’m hoping that makes sense.

    The problem seems to only be on MixPad as whenever I experience the locked fader on MixPad, I can use the touch screen on the CQ-18 and the fader can be moved normally with no issue.

    Thanks!

    Bill

    @Bill_2112

    This sounds similar to a bug we have logged which can occur when running CQ-MixPad on a Mac.
    If you try and use a scroll gesture, or scroll wheel on a fader instead of clicking and dragging as designed, you can lock up the fader until you navigate away from that screen and back again.

    This is something we hope to fix in a future update.

    Hopefully this explains it, but if not, please contact us directly through support.allen-heath.com with more info.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    Keith, I just confirmed that this is exactly what is happening on my end. Thanks for the quick replay and I look forward to the fix.
