I am well versed in the A&H USB recording protocol, however I am now trying to unwind the somewhat different SD card system’s peculiaritys. I have 5 stereo BU tracks that I need to have available for my solo show. I recorded the first one into ST#1 and monitored the recording via the CQ20b’s HPs. The problem is I cannot find clear directions to play back the tracks. If I am going to use the SD card for this purpose I will probabably need to use soft keys to facilitate quick access to choose and play one stereo BU recording at a time.

(I use a Masterlink with my SQ5 rig and it performa beautifully, but it is rack mounted in a rather involved system and obviously will not be deployed with the CQ)2024/08/28 at 12:34 pm #125076HughParticipantAll of the answers I needed were actually available in the user guide and after re reading several times, I now have exactly what I needed for my BU tracks.
However there is one question that re-reading has not revealed: Is it possible to use PEQ to set a HP filter on my mon wedge (Input #1) There is clearly a GEQ available but I would rather to use parametric (HP & LP filter) controls for wedge management if they were avaliable with the CQ20b.

CQ outputs can either have a GEQ, OR a PEQ and the feedback assistant.
You can switch between the two as shown here – https://youtu.be/bkvPXk9KNMM?si=y9wzN1Xm_QpsV0LY&t=39
The in the PEQ, set the LF band to filter as shown here – https://youtu.be/cG1lEashoL8?si=BrvGyZj-xUyYwwE5&t=40Thanks,

Does a library of the various clips you have prepared exist for quick reference: They are a most informative, helpful tool that all of us will need from time to time! Thank You Keith for the in depth walk thru that some of us really need to whip the digital learning curve.
