CQ-18T Firmware 1.2 SD Card playback no sound through headphone

Hi,
I have a new CQ-18T with firmware 1.2.
I tried recording a voiceover on SD, and while the recording and the file is there (and plays on my mac just fine) – nothing comes out through the headphone connected to the CQ-18T.

What settings should I check to remedy this or – is this a bug?

Setting the input source for the inputs used in SD recording to SD card fixed the issue.
