CQ 12T network

Hi,
Has anyone connected a CQ12T to a router yet? I didn’t go for the 18T as I didn’t really need to extra channels or the network feature, but it would be good to know how to set that up via the network port. Is it just a case of getting one of those portable routers, then that creates the local network to then connect an iPad running the MixPad app?
I don’t really understand this stuff, so I’m sorry if that’s a daft question. Just trying to understand. Cheers

Not a daft question, and you’re absolutely correct 🙂 you just need to connect the CQ to a network in the same way as you would connect a computer. Then connect the device running CQ-MixPad to that same network (be it wireless or hardwired). Then the app will be able to find and connect to the CQ for control.

Mine works perfect with a router and also works perfect when networking to my PC with Windows 10.

Yep works just super fine on my CQ12T, immediate detection of the network, hot plug/unplugging, no issue at all.
