Control Room Monitor Level Control

What do y’all do to create a level control for control room monitors? Do you use a matrix or do you just assign everything to another group?

You can use the Listen bus as a source for your control room monitors. These busses will have the same signal as the PAFL bus but the level ist controlled by the listen level. And you can either assign a soft encoder to the listen level or you change the mixer role so that the master fader will become the fader of the listen bus instead of the main LR bus.
