    Hi,

Just as the title suggests… is there a way to view and control the playback of the Qu-Drive from the iPad app?

    Thanks for any help.

You can’t view track progress on it, but you can control QU-Drive from your softkeys on the Qu-Pad:)

It burns soft keys, but I’ve done this for a long while. Works a treat

There are a lot of bands having their drummer starting backing/click tracks so this would really be an amazing feature to have. I mean if in the app would be the ability to select track and start/stop. And i really mean that this could be the feature that makes bands want to buy the mixer instead of some other mixer on the same pricepoint.

I use the softkey route to pause and start recording – works a treat

That is not what i mean. I wish there would be a “backing track launcher” for the drummer. So you could select a track and start it from the stage. Shows dont always go like the setlist is, so this could be very helpful.

Personally I’d use a separate playback device (laptop/iPod/iPad maybe)

Since live music is inherently variable the ability to restart, skip, etc… a backing track could be helpful.

But if you have stereo or 4 channels of tracks and a click, you have to use a multichannel soundcard or something.

    Yes, it would.
