I’m using Sq5 SQ drive/usbA to record while also using ME1s. Ideally, I would like to record with channel direct outs set to post preamp (no Other processing), but I would like the ME1s to receive channels post EQ. The direct out settings are global.

Is there anyway to do this?

    Hi Barry,

The best way to do this is to use Tie Lines for the USB recording.
Tie lines can be used to route any input socket (analogue or digital) directly to any output socket (analogue or digital) without using any channels, so there’s no processing 🙂

This will mean you get a ‘raw’ recording unaffected by anything you do for FOH and monitoring and leave your direct outs for use with your ME system.

    Hope this helps.
    Keith.

    Thanks, Keith. I’ll try that.
