Channel directly to FX insert page

While working on a channel, would be nice if there was a button on the touchscreen that would bring you right to it’s insert point so you don’t have to hit the FX button, then highlight it’s slot.

Maybe something where you hold the “Insert” soft button for 1.5 seconds and it jumps you there?

Would also be nice to have this integrated the opposite way as well. While working on an FX slot, being able to jump to it’s inserted channel. But going from channel to FX slot is more valuable if only one is possible.

Hey Ian,

So the new V1.5 ‘FX Screen Follow Sel’ option in Surface Prefs does this (in a way).
When ‘on’, the relevant FX engine slot is selected in the background whenever selecting an FX send/return, or a channel where an FX unit has been inserted.
You then just need to press the FX screen key to see the ‘correct’ FX unit, in place of another button or key as you suggest here.
