We’re looking for an easy way for out less experienced sound techs to give a quick 10db cut to a track via a soft key. Right now the only way I’ve found to do this is via assigning the PAD to a soft key for an input.
But the pad is a 20db cut.
Is it possible to change the system value for pad from -20db to -10db?
I strongly suspect that the 20dB is intimately associated with a resistor network in the pre-amp. I’m not quite sure what you’re after that can’t very easily be achieved by turning the gain control anticlockwise, which I think is the universal way of doing things.
