The number of Fx set in the config is 6 for mono.

When I try to assign Sends of Fx6 to a fader, it is assigned on the screen, but does not appear on the fader of the main unit.

Of course, other mixes will appear on the faders of the main unit.

This means that Fx is still in operation with 5 mixes.

This may be a software glitch.
Hopefully this will be resolved in a future firmware update.

Does this issue survive a reboot? If you assign another channel/aux/group to that slot, does it appear normally? Finally, if you start a new show file, does the problem continue on a new file?

I haven’t seen this issue on our Avantis and we have similar screens with 6 FX sends and 6 FX returns.

Is Freeze in Layers activated for the empty strip?

Thank you all for your advice.

I have tried calling Show anew and Reset Fx.

It seems that there was another reason why it was not showing and I have found the cause.

It seems that in the past I had created the show with the Fx6 I/O assignment once removed.

By re-selecting “Mix->Return” the faders appeared.

I learned that it is very important to check the back panel.

That makes sense why it wasn’t working. I’m also glad you thought to look at that screen. If I’m honest, I would have been pulling my hair out trying to find the problem for a long time before I thought to check the routing on those screens!

This would be the first thing to check…
Switching from send>return to insert fx makes the return fader disappear, and I thought you checked the obvious already.
