[bug] 1.2 – gate side chain from other channels is post fader.
I’m not sure if this is a bug, or just it works like this by design. Regardless, this completely defeats the purpose of using side chain signals to trigger gates.
Gate key signal should be fed pre fader by default.

According to the comment from Allen & Heath under the video the side chain should be picked up pre fader, so hopefully it will get fixed in a future firmware update. I actually use side chain a lot and it has to be pre fader.

Actually they were unable to reproduce the issue.
Could someone test it?

I did as follows: I activated gate on IP4 where I had pink noise from signal generator and I selected IP3 (snare drum) as a sidechain for gate on IP4. When I took IP3 fader down, the gate on channel IP4 would not open. When IP3 fader was up to a certain level, only then the gate would open.
