Can we get Unicode support for channel names? One of our singers is named Doré, not Dore, Doray, Door-eh (which doesn’t even fit on the channel strip’s screen), or any other way I can think to spell it using only ASCII characters.
If (as I suspect might be the case) the answer is “the channel strip screens don’t have enough resolution to draw all those really cool-looking but very intricate Asian characters, especially in the ME product line”, can we at least get support for the other character sets?
I know it’s probably not going to be a super high priority even if y’all decide to implement this, but it’s been bugging me for years.
