Hi folks, yes I’m being cheap and would rather not buy a new Dante card. Will this work or do I need a 96 ok Dante card? I’m planning to use the date card for multitrack to a daw.

    thoughts?

    Thanks!

If you’re asking can DX (96k) and a 48k Dante card coexist, the answer is yes since the DX connects to SLink which runs independently of the expansion card (Dante).

What console is your current Dante card used in? If it’s an iLive, dLive, or GLD you can use it with this console. An adapter will be required for the iLive/GLD M-Dante card to fit.

    Thank you Scott!
Yes, I have the card in a GLD.

I had read about the adapter, which is much cheaper than buying a new card. Understood, that my multitrack will be limited to 48k, but that is A-OK with me.

    Thanks again!
