With Microsoft focusing more and more on ARM processors at this point, I wanted to see if the Director software was compatible with Windows running on ARM processors. It’s my understanding that apps can potentially have problems working on ARM devices. Can anyone confirm if the Director software will or will not run properly on an ARM machine running Windows?
You can test it, if you have a Windows ARM device available. Windows ARM runs emulation for Windows X86 apps and can run many of them. Win32 tends to work somewhat better than Win64 when it comes to x86 apps. It’s not great in some cases, but it couldn’t hurt to run it in a test environment.
