Today we gigged our CQ18 and it was amazing to use it. I did use the multitrack recording. It was a long set and was exhausted, and forgot to Stop recording before shutting down.. Unfortunately for me, I see the folder with all the track files but are 0 bytes. Empty file :(…. I wish CQ autosaves before shutting down the unit. Or maybe at least a popup to indicate the recording is taking place.. Stop recording before unit is turned off. My other mixer that I retired because of CQ does this autsave… Hopefully this can be implemented in the future so we don’t lose good memories from shows. Thanks team.

+1 please fix this… happened to us – all too easy at end of a gig.

    Hi both,

A software shut down (which will also stop any recording) is being implemented.
However, this relies on shutting down the CQ properly in software – simply cutting the power will still result in files that are not written/finalised correctly.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    ^^ That sounds ideal.

Usually we mute or dial it down before shut down already.

The recording mode notification is rather subtle.. a more prominent flashing border might help too.

I see it’s implemented (nice); note that it hasn’t yet made the manual as of manual v1.1.0 I1, eg Home Screen on p116.
