Auto setting for compressor?

    I follow a guy who teaches x32 tips.

    The one cheat sheet he had suggests for vocal compression to use “ Attack/Hold/Release: Auto”

    I looked in the sq6, I don’t see any option for “auto” in the attack, release or hold.

    Is this because the sq6 is a more professional console?

    The compressors have different possible work modes.
    The auto modes on the QU emulate some attack/release combinations found in classic compressor models…
    These are available on the SQ in different shapes, but are add-ons that you need to pay for.
    And there are more compressor models available than the two “auto modes” on the QU.
