I’m out of warranty already! Contacted service centre but they can’t give me rough estimate of cost, and don’t really want to send it in for an unknown charge when I can live without that channel – for now.
Seeing as it could just but the rubber not making contact with the mute switch I was thinking about opening the desk myself. Has anyone any experience with this?
We would never recommend, and strongly advise against opening your SQ, in or out of warranty. It’s possible that this is a key mat issue that we’ve seen before and it is important for this to be looked at by your distributor.
We are supplying replacement key mats free of charge for units with this issue once the distributor confirms it is the cause.
