    Hello,

We have an AB 168, and we are considering having the cat5 cable that runs to it end in a wall jack, then the AB 168 would plug into that wall jack. Is there any issue with having such a junction in this line?

    Thank you.

Nope, as long as you don’t exceed the max cable distance.
I have a GLD dSnake output plugged into a wall jack, running ~150′ to the backstage closet where it terminates in another wall jack, and then a patch cable connects from there to our stage box.

I’m currently running a system that goes gld > wall jack > wall jack > jumper cable > wall jack > wall jack > AR2412 because we don’t yet have a direct cable run. It works perfectly, though with more potential points of failure than I’d like.
