We are really excited by the potential of what we could do with Avantis at our church and really see this as a massive step forward. But a really nice feature would be to have an actual desk!
We ordered two at the end of October/beginning November and were told by Audio Technica that we would have them early December – a bit of a wait but OK considering its a new desk. Nothing came and then we were told beginning of Jan – annoying but OK. We have now been told end of Jan, possibly early Feb as they aren’t sure when the shipment will arrive – how can this be? Your main UK distributor doesn’t know if/when stock will arrive!
Our initial enthusiasm is rapidly changing to frustration particularly due to the fact that two desks is a significant outlay for a church and we have also encountered with the SQ/GX4816 set up we installed to tide us over while we waited for the Avantis.
