    Greetings – hopefully a simple question here…

Can someone elaborate on the purpose of the “Follow Fader” toggle when using AMM? The available literature doesn’t make it clear to me when it’s appropriate to enable or disable this setting.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jeff,
Follow Fader will take the channel fader position into account when calculating the ‘weight’ of the channel in the AMM mix. So for example, you can grab the fader down if the person walks off stage or is coughing, and the AMM will adjust levels accordingly so that the channel in question doesn’t get priority over others.
