ALLEN & HEATH CQ20B

Hi, can any one tell me or help me to know if it is possible to connect:
a Midi / Control Surface / Midi Controller with Faders to an iPad or Android Tablet.

So we have just bought the fantastic Allen & Heath CQ20B, for Live Shows, But ideally we would like our Sound Engineer who will be using the Mix Pad App on a Android Tablet (which is already installed & works)

We would then like to be able to plug in a Midi / Control Surface / Midi Controller with Faders to control the Control surface instead of a Touch Screen, but being able to control the app using physical faders via midi.

If not is this something Allen & Heath would or Will concider.

Your help & Knowledge would be gratefully appreciated.

Midi controller to tablet = YES with an adapter.
Midi controller to CQ Mixpad app to CQ20B = NO, CQ Mixpad app doesn’t support midi
Midi controller to Mixing Station to CQ20B = YES, Mixing Station support midi.
