I’d love the ability to have multiple zones be tied to the same “room” so that I can have multiple sets of speakers, such as my Main LR, Out Fills, Front Fills, Delays, etc. all in one “room” so that when I combine multiple rooms so that they share audio, then all of my different zones within one room get combined seamlessly as well.
Currently I’m trying to create a configuration based on rooms (to avoid clunky preset and custom control layout management) that will allow me to have my main auditorium as a “room” and send either a “simple” room into it which has some basic mics and canned audio, and then another “room” which my FOH console is feeding. As it stands right now, I have to create an extra room with a zone that then feeds into the individual speaker zones I’m using to directly control and process my PA. I understand that this would usually be done with a separate DSP that’s just getting fed a main LR signal, but that’s what I’m trying to use the AHM for as well.
Ultimately, I think being able to at least tie a main LR and a sub “zone” to a single room would be incredibly helpful
