AHM dSnake to Qu possible?

Sorry if the question was asked before – I couldn’t find it.

Although obviously dSnake stage boxes like AR2412,AB168 can be connected to AHMs with either SLink built-in port or SLink card,
I couldn’t find a clear answer whether Qu and AHM can be connected like it works between SQ and Qu and in case how clocking has to be configured.

Hi Tom,

The short answer is this is not a supported setup. The issue here is that Qu mixers can only be clock leaders and their dSNAKE patch is not 1:1. Technically you can sync the AHM from the Qu and patch Qu signals to the ‘Monitor’ port and these should appear as SLink input 21 and above in the AHM, but it’s an untested configuration and either system might display and log errors.
