A&H need more beta testers!

I think A&H need to hire more beta testers for these updates.

After experiencing the “no audio to mix outputs until assigning an insert” bug in front of 3000+ people when our mayor was about to speak was nothing short of a near heart attack. Luckily I saw someone else with this issue online so I knew the fix, but that is such a serious issue it would have cost me a client.

If they had a larger group of NDA testers, I can almost guarantee this bug would have been found, and probably within a day or less of going out to the team.

It costs A&H nothing, and increases productivity instantly. After this insert bug, I think it’s necessary to start sending off some NDA’s.

+1 the repatching was actually so random it took me a good while to our desk operational for Sunday morning.

Also A&H need to highlight this issue clearly in the release notes if they haven’t done so already.

If Allen & Heath ever starts doing this I volunteer to be a beta tester.
