AES Card on surface or stagebox ?

Hi,
I need several AES outputs for my DLIVE C2500/CDM32. I’m thinking of buying the AES3-10 output card but I’m wondering if this card can be inserted into the CDM32 or only on the C2500 as there is no AES output on the CDM32.
Can anyone tell me?

You have one netwrk card slot in a C class mix rack and one slot in the surface which the AES card could be installed into, I have one in my DM64 for this very reason.
