Hi, Once one has recorded a track in multitrack mode to the QU drive, can one subsequently record additional track(s) (on different channels) without losing the first one? i.e. can the QU drive replay a track at the same time as recording some new ones? It would be so much easier just to snap a few tracks rather than power up the DAW and wait for a million updates….
Nope, but you could load the L&R recording to another media player and record again – the L&R signal would allow you to line up the two set of recordings, but the samples wouldn’t be perfectly lined up.
Ok, thanks Bob & Mervaka. Seems like it would be a good improvement, after all a DAW can do it easily on discs and processors that are doing 20 other things at the same time 🙂
