Adding Extra SLink Card for ME System and DX168 Connection

Hi everyone,

My goal is to connect the ME Personal Mixing System, and the DX168 on the SQ7.
I was thinking having the on board SLink connected to the DX168 and adding a extra Slink for the ME system. Does anyone have experience on this or any suggestion on such configuration?

There are basically two choices. Add an S-Link card in the I/O slot to attached the second device to as you are suggesting, or use a GX4816 stage box instead of the DX168 box. That stage box actually has both local I/O and a ME port built in.

Either choice will work fine. Obviously the GX4816 option is going to be more expensive initially, but it also leaves the I/O slot open for any future use (like adding a Dante or Waves card).
