I would like to be able to set the SigGen assignments to L and R separately, regardless of what output bus setting is used.

Unfortunately, Avantis does not allow the main out fader to be assigned separately unless the L and R faders are set to independent settings.

Also, in cases such as stereo AUX, stereo BUS, and stereo MATRIX, it is not possible to make individual assignments to L and R for each output.

The problem in operation is that if Avantis is used with a setting that controls the volume of L and R with a single fader, the L and R check tones will be played at the same time during speaker check, or when sending in stereo to an external recording device or a musician’s IEM, it may be difficult to confirm that the L and R channels are really the same. When sending stereo signals to an external recording device or to a musician’s IEM, it is not possible to check whether the L and R channels are really matched.

The only way to check is to visually confirm that the patch inside the Avantis is correct while checking the cable connections from end to end.

I would really like to be able to assign the L and R channels separately using SigGen.

This is true not only for Avantis but also for SQ.
