    It would open up a lot more possibilities for effects control (and many other things) if you could assign external MIDI CCs from a device like the Faderfox EC4 to act as “virtual SoftRotaries” to control parameters within the SQ.
    (You could interface the Faderfox with the SQ using Bome’s MIDI Translator Pro or similar software.)

    While one can control effects sends via MIDI already, I could see the EC4 being useful to control effect parameters (for example.)

    Love this idea. Gives the smaller desks the SQ-7 rotaries, same as SQ-5 got the softkeys on the iPad.
