    Today a collegue of me made extra auxilaries. The 6 AUXes were not enough.
    Standard-setting is that all AUXES are pre-fader.

    The extra faders (setup – config) are post-fader.

    I think this is confusing and strange.

    Did we something wrong? Why is this? I don’t know if this is like this in previous firmware-versions? Maybe something to change in the next firmware?

    (Firmware 1.3 installed).

    So go ahead and make the new auxes pre-fader? Not sure what the problem is – it’s easy to change.

    Press “mix”, hold “pre/post” and press “sel”.

    Done.

    Now I know how to solve this, but I am stil wondering why this works like this.

    It seems unusual to me.

    The issue is in the template; if you configure the mixer yourself, it will all be post fader.

    You could just save the template under a different name if you often use a particular setup as a start.
