    Despite being advertised as a DAW controller, I find I need to purchase Bome’s Midi Translator and configure it myself, function by function, in order to use the Qu-16 as a Pro Tools controller. This is beyond me. Allen & Heath have provided templates for other desks but no sign of this yet for Qu-16. Has anyone got this desk controlling Pro Tools yet and can you publish your template or way of working? Many thanks, Alistair Russell

    Ah well, we just have to wait for A&H. I asked for help from Bome’s and all they could suggest was that A&H comes up with a template. I’ve followed the complicated instructions with Bomes, got as far as seeing the translator react to the desk, but I am stumped after that. Think I’ll write to A&H marketing as well as tech support.
