I know this has come up before on the forums but I have started to look for alternatives to GLD now simply because there is no way to fade between scenes.
The system is great and almost perfect for what I do apart from lacking in this feature.
Unfortunately when searching for a simular desk with scene fading at a simular price yo GLD I either have to loose faders, inputs or outputs. Only desks I can find suitable would be the Digico SD9 or Yamaha CL3. These cost at least double the price though and in weight and size aren’t really what I’m looking for.
So I ask is there any chance or scene fading being added to GLD or indeed iLive.
If an LS9 can do it I don’t see why a GLD or iLive can’t. It would make such a difference for the theatre market and open up the desk to a whole new user base.
