Our GLD has done this a couple of times, on the latest firmware and the previous version.

It will freeze when “Power down?” “Yes” is pressed, then 5-10 seconds later it will reboot to the grey “Not shut down correctly” screen. It will work normally from here and will power down properly.

It shouldn’t be doing this, but as long as it only freezes when I’m trying to switch it off I’m pretty happy. [:)]

It seems to me that many issues issues of digital weirdness are somehow related to usb drive handling by these units.

Boil it down – Great sounding, easy to use, flexible, good value

    but

More software work needs to be done on this system.

The surest way to windup with nothing is to wait for everything. On the other hand, the 2nd mouse always gets the cheese.

    Chris93:

Do you have a USB-stick inserted when shutting down, or have you tried both with/without?

Make a ticket to the A&H-guys, and i hope they will help.

    Hi Chris.

The next time this happens, could you open a support ticket and send your GLD logs along with a description of your issue.

    Thanks,

Ours hasn’t done it since I last posted about it, couldn’t hurt to send in the logs I suppose.

My 14mb system log is bigger than their 10mb cap.

    FAIL.

The guys in tech support seem to have a way around that, just sent them 22mb file, maybe someone in IT needs to enlarge the file handling size[:D]
