Hello all. I am new to the iLive world and am loving it. I started in a theatre with a 144 surface, an IDR0 and an IDR32, connected via ace. While digging around the storage rooms in the theatre, I discovered several ethersound cards.
    Two questions:
    1. is there an advantage to using ethersound over ace? I have enough cards to go around…

    2. Is there a way to multitrack via ethersound (using the 2nd card slot in the surface for ES) and how do I do it…do I need an interface? If I do, then it might be cheaper to buy a dante card rather than buy an es interface and a new computer, as all of the es interfaces I could find were pci/pcie and my computer that I do all of my recording/editing on is a macbook pro. I do have bootcamp/parallels, so I can get around the windows vs mac os x problem.

    Thanks a bunch in advance!
