Has anyone noticed a slight delay between moving a fader and hearing the change?

This has been noticable on our GLD since we got it about 6 months ago, but it’s the first digital console I’ve used much. It’s not much of a delay at all but enough to be noticeable compared to analog. I stop noticing it after about 10 minutes.

Is this just the latency of the desk? I don’t think it’s the distance from the PA, we had the same speakers in the same place with an analog desk for a couple of months and I never noticed it. There isn’t any noticable latency when speaking into a mic, but I hear it when playing music and making quick fader movements.

Do all digital desks do this, just something to get used to?
