We are exploring new personal monitoring options for our church. Currently we are using a 10 year old Aviom system. It’s been beat up for long enough and it’s time to replace. Every week we are using approximately 12-14 Avioms on stage. Most of which is a clump of avioms tied to wireless transmitters all in a rolling cart that is hidden behind our Grand Piano on stage. I personally would like to move to a better sounding system. A monitor engineer would be ideal but we can’t make that happen any time soon.

I was curious if anyone is using the iPad One mix app along side of the Me controllers? I’d love to get all of our in-ear transmitters racked up near the stage rack and give those channels iPads to control their mix. Which would also allow me at FOH to check in on their mix if they are having issues. This would also clean our stage up a little.

I would give the rest of the band the Me system. Any thoughts?
