    Hi Joe,

If you are using Waves plugins, you can try Multirack Native. It’s designed precisely for simple, live use of plugins, which are arranged into ‘racks’. It supports ASIO and Core Audio drivers so you can use the Dante Virtual Soundcard.

Alternatively you can use any DAW by routing your Dante channels to a set of tracks, routing the track outputs back to Dante, inserting your FX and activating track monitoring (depending on the DAW, you might have to arm your tracks).

Either way, bear in mind the roundtrip latency (DVS + DAW & FX processing) will delay the processed channels slightly when compared to other, unprocessed channels on the mixer. The effect of plugin latency in live mixing has been discussed elsewhere in this forum, and varies depending on application.

    I hope this helps,

    Nicola

    hi Nicola,

thanks for your reply, tried it with Studio One 2.5 and Mainstage 2,
both solutions are working great, latency is no problem.
have tried it with Guitar and Ampire Plugin – nice!

    Hi Joefi,
There is an Apple-Developer-Tool called AULab.
As far as I know it is something like a “Standalone-Multichannel-AudioUnits-Player”.
As AULab is a very small App, it should run with even a lower latency than “real” DAW’s.
    Hope that helps.
    Cheers,
    Mario
