    Hi, all.

I finally got around to putting our I/O boxes (one AR2412, one AR84) in a rack this weekend and noticed that the feet on the I/O boxes seem to be sticking into the slot below… each box takes up one more RU than I was expecting.

Anybody else have this problem or is there just something goofy with my rack?

    Are the feet removable?

yes, it’s very easy to do: just pull out the center black pin on each one

You may want to leave the feet to give you yourself space for airflow though. Butting rack units up against each other is never a recommended idea.
